PlayWithVLC for Internet Explorer

Description

PlayWithVLC adds a "Play with VLC" entry to the context menu that appears when
you right-click a file from within Internet Explorer.  Selecting this menu
item will cause VLC to attempt to play the file, streaming it if possible. 
This is useful, for example, for easily playing ReplayTV shows via DVArchive's
WebControl interface.  Please read and acknowledge the DISCLAIMER below before
installing and using this software.

Requirements

- Microsoft Windows 9x, ME, NT4, 2K, XP (tested on Windows XP)
- Internet Explorer 5.0 or later (tested on IE 6.0)
- VideoLAN VLC (version 0.7.2 or later is recommended)

Installation

1) Close Internet Explorer if it is currently running.

2) Copy the included "PlayWithVLC.html" file to "C:\Program
Files\VideoLAN\VLC" (the default installation directory for VLC).

NOTE: If you installed VLC in a directory *other than* "C:\Program
Files\VideoLAN\VLC" (the default), then you will have to adjust the above step
accordingly.  You will also have to update  both the "PlayWithVLC.reg" and
"PlayWithVLC.html" files as appropriate to refer to *your* chosen installation
directory instead of the default one.

3) Double-click the included "Install.reg" file.

4) Restart Internet Explorer for the changes to take effect.

Uninstallation

1) Close Internet Explorer if it is currently running.

2) Delete the "PlayWithVLC.html" file from "C:\Program Files\VideoLAN\VLC" (or
wherever you installed it).

3) Double-click the included "Uninstall.reg" file.

4) Restart Internet Explorer for the changes to take effect.

Usage

When you are browsing with Internet Explorer and find a video file you would
like to play, simply right-click the video file/link and choose the "Play with
VLC" menu item.  VLC should open and begin playing the video file as soon as
it has buffered it sufficiently.
